February 12, 2014
St. Paul Lutheran School, Mt. Prospect
Topic: Accreditation

We were privileged to have, Mr, Keith Wilharm, a consultant with the National Lutheran School Accreditation, join us to speak further on the benefits of NLSA as well as answer questions regarding the process. Under the "LINKS" portion of the blog, click on National Lutheran School Accrediation to find out more about the process, benefits, and a listing of schools that are accredited. Keith Wilharm is available to answer any questions you may have regarding the process. He can be reached via email at: KeithWilharm@yahoo.com

-Go for it! If your preschool is in an elementary school, go for a dual accreditation! If anyone is interested in taking on the task of separately accrediting your early childhood center (with your accredited elementary school) please let me know. I would like to start this process and doing it with other will allow a good support group! Let's strive for exemplary status! Concordia University Chicago's early childhood center is an exemplary school. St. Peter Lutheran School in Arlington Heights was just recognized as a Blue Ribbon School. We certainly have excellent schools in our district.
